PAGASA Says Habagat to Affect PH Weather Condition

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (July 27, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

Cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm is expected over Metro Manila, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Abra, Benguet, and Occidental Mindoro.

Habagat would also bring moderate to at times heavy rains over Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan. The remaining parts of the country would also experience the same weather condition.

PAGASA continues to monitor two active tropical cyclones outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Tropical Storm Fabian is located 1,175 kilometers north of extreme northern Luzon while Tropical Storm Nepartak was seen at 2,550 kilometers northeast of extreme northern Luzon.

The coastal water condition over Luzon and Visayas would be moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over Mindanao.
