Actress Alice Dixson opens up about being an actress and a first-time mother.
ALICE DIXSON – Being a mother for the first time and actress that must be on a lock-in taping, Alice Dixson opens up about this.
Last April, actress Alice Dixson returned to the country with her little miracle, her little bundle of joy she named Aura. She has a non-showbiz partner and they tried to get pregnant but they eventually decided to conceive through surrogacy. Since Aura came into their lives, she has been posting photos with her but still keeping them private by not showing her baby Aura’s face.
She is happy and grateful because, after years of prayers and wishes, God has finally heard her heart’s ultimate desire. Accordingly, she has been wishing to have a baby during her birthdays for 10 years and amid the pandemic, they were given the greatest blessing they could have – their little miracle. She hasn’t given up on this dream of hers, hence, they decided on surrogacy.
And now, juggling her roles as a mother for the first time and being an actress amid the pandemic, she shared that she struggled. It seems like she has not fully adjusted herself yet to motherhood. The pandemic has brought her a lot of things to consider. As of now, she can’t be with her just yet because she caught a cold while on taping. A baby is very sensitive and with the pandemic still ongoing, she has to be very cautious and careful.
“It was difficult kasi I had to be away for two weeks tapos… we have the yaya. Nakahanap naman kami ng paraan. Unfortunately, up to now hindi ko pa siya talaga nalalaro nang husto because when I was on the set, I got cold and still recovering. So, hindi ko pa siya talaga nakakasama ng 100 percent,” she said as per PEP.
