Rumored couple Coco Martin and Julia Montes to reunite in a project which will be helmed by Brillante Mendoza.
JULIA MONTES – Drama actress Julia Montes and her rumored boyfriend Coco Martin are set to work together again after seven years.
The love team of Coco Martin and Julia Montes apparently rose to fame in 2012 through their phenomenal teleserye “Walang Hanggan”. The immense support given to their pair dubbed as CocoJul resulted in other projects of them together such as a film entitled “A Moment in Time” in 2013 and another series, “Ikaw Lamang” in 2014.
There were rumors that they ended up as a couple for real and now have a child but neither of them has spoken up about this matter to the public yet. There were also allegations that she has given birth to their first child as the reason why she went on a hiatus previously.
In a previous article, she shared that her hiatus is meant to fulfill the gaps made after having not known her father ever since. She was already 21 years old when she finally met him and those months that she was not seen on television is the time she used to play her true role as a daughter to her father. She expressed, “And then ‘yun nga, after ‘Asintado,‘ sabi ko, parang gusto kong i-fill ‘yung missing years with Papa. Kasi ang tagal, eh. Hindi ko ine-expect na magkikita kami.”
Meanwhile, there were photos lingering online where the rumored couple was captured with acclaimed director Brillante Mendoza. Such has ignited speculations that they will be having a new project together again after seven years and this is confirmed by the incumbent mayor of Pola, Oriental Mindoro Jennifer Cruz.
She revealed that their trip to the coastal municipality is for “localization familiarization” and further revealed that the film will be directed by Brillante Mendoza. She expressed when they chose their local to film this project, “Proud ako na gagawin ito sa Pola at isa tayo sa napasama sa movie. Proud na proud ang mga Polenio na doon ito gagawin sa Pola kasi, would you imagine, gagawin sa isa sa maliit na bayan lang sa Oriental Mindoro and yet nakikilala siya sa filmmaking.”
She did not divulge any further details as she does not want to spoil it but she confirmed that Martin and Montes will be working again and will soon be seen together on a single screen after many years.
