Young Girl Brings Only Mango to School Due to Poverty
A young girl went viral on social media and touched many hearts after she was seen bringing only a piece of mango to school due to poverty.
Recently, Beyat Manga Paz, a Facebook user, shared a photo of her female student who brought a single piece of mango as her school snack. The post quickly circulated online and elicited comments from the netizens.
Nowadays, some children complain about having hot dogs or eggs for lunch. However, a young student named Anika reminded everyone of the value of gratitude. Despite having very little, she came to school smiling, happy just to have food and be in class.
Teacher Paz shared that when she offered to help Anika open her lunch, she saw only mangoes inside the little girl’s bag. But instead of looking embarrassed or shy, Anika smiled brightly and showed how content she was, even with so little.
