Is it true that Coco Martin is really planning to enter politics?
Rumor has it that the recent sightings of Coco Martin and Julia Montes are part of the actor’s preparation for his political plans in 2022.
Last May, the speculations about the end of Coco’s series Ang Probinsyano circulated. It was rumored that FPJAP is set to have its finale this year and allegedly this is to give time to Coco to prepare for his political plans.
Even veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis has spoken about this. Later on, it was rumored that the Kapamilya star is being persuaded to run for Senator next year.
In line with this rumored political plans of Coco Martin, speculations surfaced that his more frequent sighting with Julia Montes is a kind of his preparation for the 2022 elections, PEP entertainment columnist Jojo Gabinete said in his recent article.
Just recently photos of the CocoJul love team with Director Erik Matti and actor JM De Guzman circulated and these garnered speculation that they are working on a project.
However, according to Gabinete, there were still those who believe that Coco is planning to run in the next election, and showing the public that he and Julia are together will be helpful for his rumored plan.
The columnist said that some people believe that these sightings could eliminate negative reactions once the campaign period will start.
“Alam ng lahat na mas brutal ang siraan sa mundo ng pulitika kesa sa showbiz. At kung totoo mang kakandidato si Coco sa 2022 elections, ang relasyon nila ni Julia at ang matagal nang balitang may inililihim silang anak ang isyu na pwedeng gamitin ng detractors laban sa kanya,” Gabinete said in his article.
