Rodrigo Duterte’s Ex-Wife on Former President: “He is so thin. Skin and bones”

RODRIGO DUTERTE’S EX-WIFE – Elizabeth Zimmerman claimed that the former President is so thin now inside the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention facility.

Recently, the ICC prosecutor submitted the 11th batch of evidence against former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. The former Chief Executive is detained in The Hague, Netherlands for more than 100 days now.

Last March 11, former Pres. Duterte was arrested by the Philippine authorities upon his arrival from Hong Kong. Following his arrest at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the former Chief Executive was detained for several hours at Villamor Air Base.

On the same day of his arrest, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was flown to Dubai en route for The Hague, Netherlands to face the accusations against him before the International Criminal Court. The former President is accused of crimes against humanity over the war on drugs of his administration.

Recently, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s ex-wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, visited the former Chief Executive inside the ICC detention facility. Based on a social media post of News5, in an interview in The Hague, the former President’s ex-wife expressed her gladness to see her ex-husband.

According to Zimmerman, she is fine and she is happy to see him. She revealed that he is okay but he is thin now as he does not like the food being served to him inside the ICC detention facility.

“I’m fine, I am happy that I have seen him and he is okay but he is so thin. Skin and bones… Ayaw daw niya ang food and pabalik-balik daw,” former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s ex-wife said.

During the interview, based on the post, Elizabeth Zimmerman was asked if former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is cooked and served Filipinos foods inside the ICC detention facility. She answered in the negative. Meanwhile, she revealed that the former President is no longer taking his medicines.

“At least, he said, he is no longer taking any meds. He’s okay. He’s healthy. Parang feeling ko lang, he’s healthy but as an old man, mahina na maglakad, you know,” she said.

Based on the post, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s ex-wife added that the former Chief Executive does not exercise inside the ICC detention facility. According to her, he just usually sleeps and watch television. He also reads books but not that much anymore.

Recently, the camp of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte asked for his ICC interim release. However, there were several people and groups that were quick to oppose it.
