Check out the new four queen set to compete in the international pageantry:
- Masbate’s Hannah Arnold – Binibining Pilipinas International
- Cavite’s Samantha Panlilio – Binibining Grand International
- Cagayan de Oro’s Cinderella Obenita – Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental
- Batangas’ Maureen Montagne – Binibining Pilipinas Globe
Arnold is 24-years-old Australian-Filipino model and this is her second time joining the pageant. The first time that she joined was in 2019 where she finished as among the semi-finalists and it seems like 2019 wasn’t the year for her. She trained under Aces and Queens. And after the delays and postponements when the pandemic took over the world, the year 2021 realized her dreams and she topped this year’s Binibini pageant.
She was born and raised in Canberra, Australia, and her fondest memory as a young child that introduced her to pageantry was when she was accordingly crowned “baby queen” of San Fernando, Masbate way back in 2002. Being a forensic science graduate, her interests included “crime podcasts and solving mysteries”.
Topping the pageant, she was also the Jag Denim Queen that gave her an additional Php 50,000.00 in cash and Php 50,000.00 worth of Jag products. Apart from that, she also won half-a-million management contract from Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI).
This year’s BBP was hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Grand International first runner-up Nicole Cordoves. Fashion designer Rajo Laurel, newscaster Pinky Webb, Novotel Manila’s general manager Maria Garcia, Ever Bilena founder Jocedo Sy, actor and animal rights advocate Enrique Gil, Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza, actress and children’s rights advocate Liza Soberano, and Department of Tourism spokesperson Benito Bengzon Jr., as chairman of the panel of judges composed the selection committee as per Philstar.
