Actress Rhen Escano speaks about her image and her films.
RHEN ESCANO – “The Other Wife” actress Rhen Escano breaks silence about her daring image and the sizzling scenes she’s done in movies.
After “Adan” and “Untrue”, people started to notice actress Rhen Escano. Her two films are both mysterious and erotic and coming out of her comfort zone doing daring scenes, she caught the attention of the people. “Adan” is about the story of a young woman who killed her abusive father and ran away with her lesbian lover while “Untrue” is about a battered wife’s misery with her husband.
After those, she expressed that she will drop her daring scenes and focus on serious acting but it did not happen. She is once again starring in a steamy-mystery film with Joem Bascon and Lovi Poe and what she did were just as extreme. The film is entitled “The Other Wife” which will be shown in VivaMax starting July 16.
Actually, when Rhen was just starting out, she’s a part of Season 4 of Lipgloss with Lovi. This was in 2009 in TV5 followed by her appearance in Legacy of GMA. And in her latest film, despite her scenes, she will accordingly be able to show to people her acting skills when it comes to drama.
Speaking about her image and what she does that caught the attention of many people, she shared that doing “Adan” and “Untrue” made her realize that she only needs to be courageous to show what she has and stressed that more important than her daring scenes are the story behind it and why she does it.
She said as per PEP, “So, nung ginawa ko yung Adan at saka yung Untrue, dun ko na-realize na kailangan ko palang maging matapang talaga para ma-realize ko kung ano talaga yung kaya kong gawin.”
