Ang Probinsyano supervillains are now teaming up and this question now arises: “Is this the end of Coco Martin’s long-running TV series?
The Kapamilya action-drama series has been airing for almost six years now. Because of this, Cardo Dalisay, the character of Coco, has been tagged as the man with nine lives. In action-packed scenes, no opponent can beat Cardo. Coco has become a household name associated to a man who is brave and willing to sacrifice everything for his loved ones and the things that matter to him.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, rumors surfaced that the Kapamilya series is set to air its finale episode soon. In an Instagram post of entertainment columnist Ricky Lo, it was stated that Coco’s character was about to end in April. However, his sources said that it will be extended until Julyt 2021.
Recent episodes of Ang Probinsyano showcase the different villains who are going against the righteous and courageous Cardo Dalisay. Because of this, speculations surfaced that the long-running series will go off the air this year.
Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino who is playing the character of Lily has been doing things to complicate the life of Cardo. Aside from her, there is Arturo, played by another veteran artist, Tirso Cruz III. Arturo thinks that Cardo is the reason why Clarisse (Rhen Escano). This is also what Teddy (Joel Torre) is thinking. The latter blames Cardo for the death of his wife Alyanna, played by Yassi Pressman.
Yassi has been the leading lady of Coco in the series since 2016. Her departure from the series brought out some intriguing speculations. It was rumored that her character was ended because Jane de Leon had to get in. Speculations also surfaced that Julia Montes, the rumored girlfriend of Coco Martin, got jealous of her.
The episode last March 11 of Ang Probinsyano reached 103,000 views Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel combined. It is also available on free channels TV5 and A2Z.
