Here’s what Lovi Poe said about her rumored network switch
Lovi is considered one of the A-list actresses of the Kapuso network. Her versatility is also being admired as she is also into recording. For the longest time, the daughter of the late Fernando Poe, Jr. has been showcasing her talent under the management of GMA.
However, in April, speculations surfaced that she is set to do her “lipat bakod”. It is common in the Philippine entertainment industry that network switching of celebrities can be the talk of the town.
Based on the article in PEP, during a recent virtual media conference with Lovi Poe for Imono Jewelry that she is endorsing, she was asked about her rumored transfer.
The actress-singer was asked if where she can be seen next wearing her Imono Jewelry if it’s in GMA or ABS-CBN. Lovi smiled at this question. Then, she gave her direct answer.
“Well, I guess, I think it’s only fair to keep things private at this stage. And all negotiations are confidential at this very moment,” she said.
Whatever could be the matters within the negotiation, the actress promoted her current series. “Owe My Love is airing and that’s something na sana patuloy niyo suportahan at subaybayan,” the actress said. She also said that her movie is set to be released soon and it will feature a “very important Imono piece.”
Based on the article, Lovi Poe’s manager, Leo Dominguez, was also asked about the rumored network switch of the actress. “Meron pa siyang program contract ng Owe My Love Until end of May,” the talent manager answered.
From that, the decision of the actress and her camp will be revealed. It was said that GMA also has an offer for her to renew her contract.
