Here’s what a former Kapamilya director said about Bea Alonzo’s network transfer
Former Kapamilya director Frasco Mortiz defended new Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo against bashers due to her decision to transfer to GMA-7.
The network transfer of the A-list actress various reactions from netizens, as well as from her fellow celebrities. Despite the fact that many Kapamilya and Kapuso stars showed support for Bea, it was inevitable that there were also those who bashed her.
Following the announcement that the actress is now a Kapuso, director Eric Salud shared intriguing posts about an unnamed celebrity who transferred and left an unfinished project. Apparently, for netizens, he was obviously talking about Bea Alonzo who already started shooting for the Kahit Minsan Lang series but allegedly refused to be in a lock-in taping set-up.
In line with the bashing that Bea Alonzo received, Direk Frasco Mortiz, who is a former Kapamilya director, defended her. Currently, Direk Frasco is directing the Kapuso longest-running gag show Bubble Gang. He directed ABS-CBN’s defunct kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit.
Through his series of tweets, the director defended the A-list actress. He is questioning why other people have to bash Bea and cannot be happy for her, Direk Frasco also pointed out that there are so many important things to worry about rather than to focus on the so-called network war.
“20 years ago pa nauso yan, ibahin niyo na ngayon. Imbes na manghila pababa, matuwa na lang sa bagong karera ng mga idolo niyo, mapa-Kapamilya, Kapuso o Kapatid pa yan,” he said.
The former Kapamilya director also pointed out that he also came from ABS-CBN and worked there for almost 20 years but the negative comments are unnecessary.
“Ikaw ba pag nagtrabaho ka sa isang kompanya, tapos pag-alis mo ang maririnig mo is “walang loyalty”, “walang utang na loob” matutuwa ka? We served wholeheartedly, we gave our all,” Direk Frasco stressed.
