Joey de Leon has this post about Tito Sotto and his planned vice presidency bid.

TITO SOTTO – Senate President Tito Sotto is open in running for vice president in 2022 and veteran comedian Joey De Leon has this post.

In a Pulse Asia survey, Senate President Vicente Sotto III ranked third among preferred vice presidential candidates in 2022 national elections. He once said that he wanted Senator Panfilo Lacson as his running mate and he has always been vocal about wanting to seek for higher office and peeking right through him is the position of Vice President.

He expressed about it openly as he is unlike any other officials who’d say no but come up publicly filing for candidacy in the last minutes. And on top of his list to support is Lacson. He will accordingly be making his decision in August or September.

And despite the possibility of facing President Rodrigo Duterte in gunning for the second highest government post in the country, he is still considering it. He is also leaving it to experts about the conflict it would make if Duterte runs for VP. If something happens to the President, will it be constitutionally right that he, the former chief, would replace and be president again since he is the VP?

And regarding his plan for vice presidency, a close person to him, comedian Joey De Leon, posted something that caught social media attention. In one of his recent posts, he said, “Nag-meeting TVJ kasama TJ (Tony Jeny) pero kulang ng isang “V”. Baka yun pinag-meetingan. V for Vice-President? From SP to VP? Hmmm well, Abangan…”

He is offering himself to the country and he accordingly holds this program he sees as something effective for improvement.
