Vilma Santos Wants Public To Get Vaccinated Vs COVID
VILMA SANTOS – Star For All Seasons, Vilma Santos wants the public to register and get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Batangas 6th District Representative posted a video on her social media accounts encouraging people to get inoculated. Amid the pandemic, the Philippines aims to get herd immunity.
However, due to fears, a large percentage of Filipinos are hesitant to get the vaccine. But, to allay those fears, Santos said:
“Mga kababayan, magpabakuna na po tayong lahat. Ang vaccine po ay para po sa ating kaligtasan at hindi po ito dapat katakutan. Ililigtas po tayo nito sa pandemyang COVID-19. Kaya huwag na po tayong mag-atubili na magpabakuna“.
For Santos, getting vaccinated won’t only help yourself, but also our families, communities, and our country. Furthermore, Santos urged the public to register and to be sure to get vaccinated.
The Philippine government is still ramping up its vaccination campaign. Recently, Vice President Leni Robredo launched a vaccine drive through for riders, food delivery, and public transport personnel. Meanwhile, in some cities, local government units are holding raffle promos for people who already received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
