Former President NoyNoy Aquino III has passed away at the age of 61, according to one of his family member.
On Thursday morning (June 24, 2021), a member of Aquino family announced that Former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III has passed away. The informant asked not to be named after making the announcement.
The former president passed away at the age of 61-year-old, five years after he stepped down from presidency. Aquino has been out of the public eye after he stepped down from office and remained silent.
According to the reports, NoyNoy has been rushed to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City. Aquino’s former cabinet secretaries were spotted at the hospital. Aquino is a known smoked before he was hospitalized.
Aquino becomes the Philippine President in June 30, 2010 until June 30, 2016. He has been elected as the president after his mother Corazon Aquino passed away in 2009.
