Netizens bashed Maureen Wroblewitz due to this
Former Eat Bulaga host Maureen Wroblewitz recently signed a contract with ABS-CBN’s talent management firm Star Magic and she received bashing because of this.
Maureen rose to fame after winning in the Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5. From that, she earned a hosting stint on the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, aside from the modeling projects with various brands in the country and abroad.
However, her exit from Eat Bulaga brought out some intrigues. It was alleged that she was terminated because she is not good at hosting.
On the other hand, she clarified in a YouTube video that it was a mutual decision between her and the management of the noontime show and she said that she needed to prioritize other projects.
Just recently, Star Magic announced that Maureen Wroblewitz is one of the 40 new talents who signed a contract with the company.
Several fans congratulated her on the Instagram post of Star Magic for her new showbiz endeavor and some expressed that they are excited about what in store for her as a new Kapamilya artist.
However, on the post of a popular showbiz site about this, Maureen received negative reactions. There were those who questioned her ability to be in showbiz while some recalled her acting stint on Eat Bulaga.
