MAUREEN WROBLEWITZ – The Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz expressed a message for those people who bullied and underestimated herself and her capacity.
Based on a previous news report, the winner of this year’s search for the Asia’s Next Top Model is a Filipina, Maureen Wroblewitz. She is the first Pinay to be hailed as the show’s finale winner.
Standing 5’6, Maureen felt that she lacks height. Reportedly, she was also previously bullied. However, she did not allow others to hinder her from reaching the top.
The 18-year-old Filipina contestant who was actually the youngest in this year’s search proved her bullies wrong as she stunned the judges and the spectators by showing her great growth and improvement.
Based on a recent news report in Phil Star Global, Maureen Wroblewitz expressed that her bullies should have not “underestimated” her.
“I’m really happy that I can prove them wrong,” the 18-year-old Top model said.
Furthermore, Maureen also stressed that she is more than just a “pretty face”. According to her, her bullies thought that she is a threat so they exerted an effort to try to bring her down.
Based on the report, there was also a time when the 18-year-old Filipina doubted herself and people doubted her capability. She admitted that, at first, she was shy to make some poses.
As the search continues, she learned to love herself and became confident. Maureen constantly reminded herself to focus on what she is doing. She expressed that she kept in mind that she is doing it for herself.
Maureen was faced with Vietnam’s Minh Tu Nguyen and Malaysia’s Shikin Gomez during the finale of the popular show. According to the report, both contenders of Maureen were a good sport.
