PAGASA Says Habagat to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring cloudy and rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (June 19, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao and Abra.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather condition over the Entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have the same weather condition.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the Extreme Northern Luzon would be moderate to right. The remaining parts of the archipelago would be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.

The weather agency also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
