PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (June 16)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (June, 16 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather condition over the Entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands. Metro Manila and the rest of the archipelago would have the same weather condition.

PAGASA said that fair weather condition is also expected over most parts of the country except for monsoon-affected areas.

“Sa natitirang bahagi ng ating bansa, kabilang ang Metro Manila, ay fair weather conditions naman… hindi ito monsoon break dahil meron pa rin namang southwest monsoon,” PAGASA said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Extreme northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the remaining parts of the country.
