PACQUIAO – Philippine Senator Manny Pacquiao will fly to Los Angeles to train at the Wild Card gym of American boxing trainer Freddie Roach.

Currently, a lot of people await the fight of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao against Errol Spence Jr. It will be held in August 21 in Las Vegas. In the upcoming fight with the WBC and IBF welterweight title holder, the Filipino boxing champ is putting his WBA “super” welterweight belt at stake.

Undeniably, the boxing fights of Pacman are among those that are most-awaited not only in the Philippines and the country of the boxer he will fight against but across the globe. He is set for a month-long intensive training.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, boxer-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao is set to fly to Los Angeles for his training. He is set to train at Wild Card Gym, a gym by American boxing trainer Freddie Roach.

Speaking to boxing journalist Nick Giongco, Pacman expressed that he is off to Los Angeles in the second week of July before the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. He has watched Spence at the ringside in his fight against Mikey Garcia in March 2019.

According to Pacman, his concern is that Spence is younger than him. He is 42 years old while the WBC and IBF welterweight titleholder is 31 years old. Meanwhile, based on the report, he stressed that he is still fast and he still has the hunger to be on the ring for a boxing fight.

The Filipino boxing champ assured that he is really studying his fight against Spence. The latter is known for his power on his releases in the ring but, as for Pacman, all of it are strong if you allow yourself to be hit.
