PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (June 7)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Habagat and ITCZ would bring cloudy and rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Monday (June 7, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon and ITCZ would affect the country’s weather condition.

The Southwest Monsoon would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, and Aurora.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring the same weather condition over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.

The two weather disturbance would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods or landslides during times of moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon, Aurora province, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as the rest of the country would be slight to moderate.
