PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (June 3)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Tropical Storm Dante hits Luzon and it slightly accelerates as it passed through Zambales.
On Thursday (June 3, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Tropical Storm Dante would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that Tropical Storm Dante has maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 90 kph moving 25 kph at a north northwestward direction. It was last spotted coastal waters of Santa Cruz, Zambales.
The storm would bring moderate to heavy rains over Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands, the northern portion of Palawan including Calamian Islands.
Dante would also bring Light to moderate with at times heavy rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Oriental Mindoro, and the rest of Palawan including Cuyo and Kalayaan Islands.
Two areas remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 while eight areas were under signal no. 1.

The weather disturbance is expected to weaken into a tropical depression within the next 12 hours.
