PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (May 28)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring a hot weather condition with isolated rainshowers over some parts of the country.
On Friday (May 28, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies and the ITCZ would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring the same weather over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands and Occidental Mindoro. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would also experience similar weather condition.
The easterlies may also cause possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in the affected areas.
The Luzon region would have generally fair weather condition while Visayas and Mindanao would have hot weather condition with isolated rainshowers in the afternoon and evening.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
