Andrea Meza shared her thoughts on winning Miss Universe 2020
Mexican beauty queen Andrea Meza shared that she always saw herself as the winner when she joined the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
In the recently concluded 69th edition of the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world, another Latina beauty won. Andrea had the chance to bring the third Miss Universe crown for her country.
Although there those skeptical about her win, she is proving to everyone that she deserves the crown on her head. In a recent interview with Dianne Castillejo, a reporter of ABS-CBN, Andrea Meza said that her mindset became a powerful tool for her to win the crown.
“I arrived in the competition believing I was a winner because if I don’t believe it, no one else is going to believe me. And I know the power of our thoughts that’s why I always saw myself as the winner. But I knew that if something else happened, that’s because the Universe has something else for me,” she revealed.
She added that being true to herself also played a major role in her triumph to hailed as Miss Universe 2020. Andrea said that she never pretended to be someone else and she kept on reminding herself to be herself during the pageant.
She also said that she just enjoyed the moment, enjoyed the competition and disregarded the thought that she should fit into the mold.
“I want to enjoy this moment, I want to enjoy every single part of the competition and be myself and let them see who I really am. Because I was trying to perfect and I was trying to fit in this mold, I was not being myself. Therefore, I was not enjoying the moment,” Andrea Meza stressed.
