2 Alleged Holduppers Who Tries to Evade Checkpoint in Manila Arrested

Police arrested two (2) alleged holduppers after they tried to evade the checkpoint as they were not wearing helmets and lack of documents.

The 18-year-old and 21-year-old men sped past a checkpoint near a mall on Herrera corner Rizal Avenue on a motorcycle. The police charged them because they were not wearing helmets and their avoidance was suspicious.

Holduppers Arrested in Checkpoint

The motorcycle they were riding crashed in a panic, injuring two others. The weapons they were carrying, which were 9mm and.22 caliber, were also revealed.

According to the cops The two were reportedly involved in embezzlement and theft snatching in Taguig, Caloocan, and Manila, according to Col. John Guiagui, commander of the Sta. Cruz Police Department. One of them had previously been involved in a drug-related incident.

Both officers from Sta. Cruz named the perpetrators, but they said they were stealing elsewhere to avoid being identified. They are said to be deficient in order to embezzle money.

They also borrow a motorcycle to use as a getaway car, despite the fact that neither of them has a driver’s license. The suspects also admitted that they had an acquaintance who was the drop-off point of the stolen goods from them.

They are willing to collaborate with the police to point them out. The two will be charged with disobedience to an individual in authority, breach of the Motorcycle Helmet Act, driving without a license, and unlawful possession of weapons and ammunition, all of which are overlapping offenses.
