QUEZON CITY – The police authorities arrested two holduppers after stabbing a veterinary doctor using a screw driver.

A CCTV camera has captured the commotion at a veterinary clinic in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City. Some individuals tried to escape using a motorcycle but they accidentally slipped along the road after a resident stopped them.

The riding-in-tandem were holduppers who victimized a veterinary doctor in the area. The two tried to steal the victim’s belongings including his mobile phone and pouch. The suspects stabbed the veterinarian using a screw driver after refusing to give his valuables.

Eventually, the cops were able to arrest the two holduppers identified as Mico Carlo Ereve and John Patrick Deonaldo. The 18-year-old suspects have been brought to QCPD station 11 and now facing charges of robbery and frustrated homicide.

The victim is currently recuperating after suffering stab wounds on its neck and body. The suspects also admitted the crime and revealed that it was their fourth time to perform a holdup due to poverty.

The authorities recovered the stolen cellphone and screw drivers used to stab the poor veterinarian.
