Maine Mendoza Part of TV5’s Show PoPinoy
MAINE MENDOZA – The Kapuso actress and Phenomenal Star is one of the hosts of the upcoming TV5 show entitled PoPinoy.
One of the most popular and in-demand stars in the Philippine showbiz industry is Maine Mendoza. She is under GMA-7 network where she hooked the showbiz spotlight.
Maine first hooked national attention with her dubsmash videos on YouTube. She went viral on social media and it is no secret to the public that she came from a wealthy family. They have gasoline station businesses.
Maine Mendoza became part of the Kapuso noontime variety show Eat Bulaga. She played as “Yaya Dub” in a segment and rose to stardom with Kapuso actor Alden Richards. They are collectively called “AlDub” by their fans and supporters.
Alden and Maine worked together in several projects including the movies Imagine You and Me, My Bebe Love, Love Is, and God Gave Me You. They remain as among the hosts of Eat Bulaga! amid the new setting now due to the pandemic.

PoPinoy is a reality show for the search of a boy group that will be a Pinoy Pop sensation. Maine’s co-host in the said upcoming show is her fellow Eat Bulaga! host Paolo Ballesteros. The actress is not an exclusive talent of the Kapuso network thus she can accept offers from other networks without affecting her ties with GMA-7 and her shows.
