Actress-host Toni Gonzaga turns 42 years old, and in an Instagram post, her close friend Mariel Padilla shared this heartfelt greeting.
Turning 42 this year is Toni Gonzaga, and among those who remembered her special day was Mariel Padilla. They have developed a close relationship after working together in Pinoy Big Brother, a reality show they both hosted for many years.
As Toni marked her 42nd year, Mariel shared some photos that showed some of the highlights of their lives together. In a series of photos, she shared one when they were pregnant at the same time, some behind-the-scenes from their work, their meetups outside work, and personal events they attended in each other’s lives.
In the caption, Mariel wrote, “More than 20 years of friendship and so many seasons of life later, and here we are. We’ve grown, changed, and taken on so many roles, but the friendship has always stayed. That’s something I’m truly grateful for.”
She cheered for all the moments they have shared together and for the many more that they will create together. She also wished for her birthday to be filled with happiness, joy, and everything good that she truly deserves.

She stayed the longest in ABS-CBN and was recognized several times as an actress and a host. Toni was the Queen of RomCom movies and at the same time, one of the best hosts of the local entertainment industry.
She tied the knot with her then-boyfriend, director Paul Soriano, in July 2015, after more than seven years of being a couple. On September 30, 2016, she gave birth to Severiano Elliott Gonzaga-Soriano, and on August 11, 2023, she gave birth to Polly.
