Born on January 2, 1992, Alden Richards’ real name is Richard Reyes Faulkerson. Alden Richards’ parents are Richard Peralta Faulkerson Sr. and Rosario Reyes. He was raised in Santa Rosa City, Laguna and is the second of the four (4) siblings. The actor has an elder brother and two (2) younger sisters. Alden Richards’ age now is 29 years old.
Alden is a graduate of Colegio de Santa Rosa de Lima in high school. He took a Business Management degree at De La Salle Canlubang in Laguna in college. He wanted to be a pilot but it was really his late mother’s dream for him to be an actor – which he pursued after his mom died to fulfill her wish and to support their family.
Alden Richards Showbiz Career
Alden started joining beauty pageants then and then modelling stints. In 2010, he auditioned for GMA-7’s afternoon soap opera Alakdana and got a role. It was the start of his showbiz career but his breakthrough took place when he became part of Eat Bulaga!.
The phenomenal loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza was born in a segment of Eat Bulaga! They became the dubsmash king and queen and they rose to popularity – now two (2) of the most in-demand stars of the Kapuso network.
