METRO MANILA HEAT INDEX – PAGASA forecasted that the heat index in Metro Manila may reach up to 38.2 degrees Celsius. Here are the details.

Recently, PAGASA gave an update on the heat index, the temperature perceived by humans, in the Philippines. With regards to the heat index at the PAGASA Science Garden station in Quezon City, speaking to TeleRadyo, weather specialist Raymond Ordinaryo told TeleRadyo that the agency’s forecast is between 34.3 degrees Celsius to 38.2 degrees Celsius.

Reportedly, the Metro Manila heat index forecast is under “extreme caution”. The forecast n Dagupan station,Laoag, and Sangley are as follows:

  • Dagupan Station – 39 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag – 39.1 degrees Celsius
  • Sangley – 39.6 degrees Celsius

PAGASA advises the people to stay indoors as much as they can. It is important to keep yourself hydrated and wear light-colored shirts.
