Buy-Bust Operation in Davao del Sur Lead in the Arrest of MILF Member
A member of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by anti-narcotic police in Davao del Sur.
An active member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) allegedly selling illegal drugs was once again arrested. He was caught during a buy-bust operation in Ramon Delos Cientos in Barangay Poblacion 2 in Bansalan town, Davao del Sur.
The suspect was identified as Jalil Mando alias Tol, who was also previously arrested in Davao City on charges of selling illegal drugs, based on the report. He was released in 2014 but allegedly did not stop his illegal activities.

He is also in the top 10 on the drug watch list in the Davao Region, which led the Regional Special Operations Group XI, Buhangin Police Station, and Bansalan Municipal Police Station to launch a joint operation against him.
Seized from him were three sachets of suspected shabu worth P65,000, a cellphone and buy-bust money. The MILF member is now under the custody of anti-narcotic authorities.
To minimize the rate of crime in the Philippines, the government has implemented tighter regulations against criminal activities. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, officials are strictly implementing the regulation.
However, assaults and criminal acts continue to take place without the knowledge of law enforcement. Despite the government’s anti-illegal drug drive, the spread of illegal drugs continues.
