MMA Fighter,4 Drug Suspects Arrested During Buy-bust in Drug Den in Laguna

Police arrested the alleged mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and four 4 other drug suspects after a drug den bust was conducted in Laguna.

Early Thursday morning, an alleged mixed martial arts fighter and four others were arrested in a buy-bust operation at a drug den in San Pedro district. In a buy-bust in Laguna, P200,000 worth of drugs was confiscated, and six people were arrested.

The suspects were apprehended at the Rosario Complex in San Pedro city as part of a buy-bust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). The suspected drug den is said to be guarded by the 27-year-old MMA fighter.

The perpetrator was found with up to P216,000 worth of alleged shabu. The arrestees were also found with drug paraphernalia, marked money, and two cellphones. The suspects will face charges of breaching the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 on Friday.

Meanwhile, during a buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City, authorities detained a construction worker and seized P3.4 million in illicit drugs. In a buy-bust operation, a 29-year-old construction worker reportedly sold illicit drugs known as “shabu.”
