These famous Kapamilya stars remember ABS-CBN Shutdown exactly one year after it happened.

ABS-CBN SHUTDOWN – Big stars of the ABS-CBN network remember the network’s shut down exactly a year after it happened.

The House Franchise Committee rejected the ABS-CBN fresh franchise bid and during the final hearing, 70 lawmakers have voted to junk this. This is despite the network has cleared the issues and accusations thrown against them. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has always been vocal about taking down the network after what it has done during the 2016 elections.

Duterte was stressing then for the Lopezes to pay their taxes but Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Assistant Commissioner Manuel Mapoy has clearly stated before that the network has actually been paying their taxes regularly. Also, in a previous article, Duterte said that he will not allow the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to give them the permit to operate.

And last May 5, people remembered the shutdown anniversary of the network. the same date last year, the NTC released a cease and desist order network to the media company and on the same day, they aired for the last time in free TV.

Remembering what happened that day, the following stars of the network aired their feelings about it after a year has passed and this is what they have said:
