Mother of Former Sen. JV Ejercito Who Tested Positive for COVID-19 Confined in Hospital
JV EJERCITO – Former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez, the mother of the former Senator who tested positive for COVID-19 again, was hospitalized.
The COVID-19 pandemic is the biggest problem of several nations and territories in the world including the Philippines. The country recently recorded another spike in the cases of the disease.
PH has been recording at least 7,000 new cases of COVID-19 in the country daily for weeks now. It caused the surge of the cases in the country which has now surpassed the 1-million mark.
Several known personalities in different fields contracted the disease. Among them are the parents of former Senator JV Ejercito, former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada and former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez.
Former President Estrada was hospitalized. He was confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) twice following a drop in his oxygen level and an infection in his lungs. He also had to be intubated to assist him in his breathing.
Meanwhile, the former President has recovered. He already tested negative for the disease and was discharged from the hospital.
Former Sen. JV Ejercito’s mom, former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez, tested positive for COVID-19 again. The first time that she tested positive for the disease was last December. She was hospitalized then.
Recently, the former Senator asked for prayers for his mother as the former San Juan Mayor had to be confined in the hospital again. She is diagnosed with pneumonia.
According to former Sen. JV, initial treatments for his mother have already been done at their home. He is asking for prayers for the recovery of the former San Juan Mayor. Here’s his post on Twitter:
