JV Ejercito’s Mother Former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez Positive for COVID-19
JV EJERCITO’S MOTHER – Former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez, the mom of the former senator, tested positive for COVID-19 again.
The Philippines is currently faced with a bigger fight following the surge in the cases of COVID-19 in the country. For more than two (2) weeks now, PH is recording at least 6,000 new cases of coronavirus daily.
The high daily record of new infections caused a spike in the total cases in the country. The National Capital Region and the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite, tagged as the NCR Plus, was placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) for several days.
Currently, the NCR Plus is under MECQ. Many people are battling against COVID-19 now. One of the popular personalities who tested positive for the disease is former Senator JV Ejercito’s mother, former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez.
It is the second time of former Mayor Guia Gomez to test positive for COVID-19. In December 2020, former Sen. JV Ejercito’s mother also tested positive for the disease.
In a Tweet, the former Senator asked for prayers for her mother as he hopes that the infection will be milder on her 2nd time. His father, former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada, also contracted COVID-19.
Erap was brought to the hospital and was confined in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) twice. He was intubated as he needed assistance in his breathing and in infection was spotted in his lungs.

The former President just turned 84 years old. His sisters who are older than him also contracted the disease. He previously gave a message to the public assuring the people that he is strong and reminding everyone to be careful.
