Rabiya Mateo Gets Warm Florida Greetings from Fans
RABIYA MATEO – The fans of Pinay beauty queen Rabiya Mateo prepared to welcome her to Florida for the Miss Universe pageant.
Ilongga beauty queen Rabiya Mateo is the representative of the Philippines for this year’s Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) announced that the pageant will be on May 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States.
The 24-year-old beauty queen is eyeing the 5th Miss Universe title for the country following Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray’s footsteps. The winner for this year is going to enjoy the Miss Universe title for 7 months only.
In a previous article, 18 countries backed out in the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were not able to conduct a national pageant. Among the countries that will be absent this year are Germany, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Turkey, and Egypt.

Rabiya and her team have arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the 69th Miss Universe competition. MPU creative director Jonas Gaffud took to his Instagram account to share an update about the Pinay beauty queen’s MU journey.
He uploaded a photo of Rabiya aboard a plane. It came with a caption, “Rabiya Mateo and team are now in Florida for final preparation prior to hotel check-in on May 6.”
Rabiya also received a warm welcome from her fans upon her arrival in Florida. She was accompanied by the other PH delegation in the coastal area.
