Miss Universe PH Rabiya Mateo Shares Photo Channeling Her Inner Greek Goddess
MISS UNIVERSE PH – The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 titleholder, Rabiya Mateo, channeled Athena, the Greek goddess of war and wisdom.
Filipina beauty queen Rabiya Mateo will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. It is the 69th edition of the prestigious pageant.
Last April 9, the 24-year-old Ilongga has departed for mainland USA, ahead of the pageant in Miami, Florida. The beauty pageant is set to be held on May 16, 2021, at the Seminole Hard Rock Café in Hollywood, Florida.
Over 100 designers took part to make Rabiya Mateo’s outfit stand out. She recently showcased the beautiful creation of Pinoy designers Chino Christopherson and Mark Ramsay.
In a previous article, beauty guru Olivia Quido-Co shares some details about the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. She’s the owner of the ‘O Skincare and Spa,’ the official skincare partner of Miss Universe 2020.

In a post on her Instagram account last April 17, Rabiya Mateo shared photos of herself channeling Athena, the Greek goddess of war and wisdom. The beauty queen looked all kinds of fierce in her latest photoshoot.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Athena, goddess of war, wisdom and craft.”
According to her designer, Mata Chua, Rabiya’s gown was a “modern armorial dress.” It is made from oxblood synthetic leather.
Rabiya Mateo said she hopes to find her dad Syed Mohammed Abdullah Moqueet Hashmi in the US during her Miss Universe stint. She said he left without a trace after her mom gave birth to her and her brother Mokmok.
Last year, Rabiya took to her Facebook account to reach out to him. She said she doesn’t harbor any ill-feeling towards him.
