Police Officers Arrest 4 Individuals for Playing Online Sabong in Davao del Sur
At least four individuals in Davao del Sur have been arrested by the authorities over involvement to online sabong.
Nowadays, online sabong has been one of the most popular mobile applications in the Philippines. The game involves bet, which may cause user to win or lose money depending on the game result.
A lot of Filipino people were already hooked playing the app hoping that they could win a certain amount of cash. However, there is no assurance that user could always win and earn cash.
On Friday afternoon (April 16, 2021), the police authorities arrest four individuals at the town of Hagonoy in Davao del Sur for online sabong. The culprits have been brought at a police station in Purok 2, Barangay Guihing with age ranging from 34 to 39-year-old.
The cops recovered a television, WiFi router, laptop and P4, 200 cash in the venue. The gamblers are currently under the custody of Hagonoy PNP while the authorities are preparing to file charges against the suspects.
