Dennis Padilla Confined in Hospital Due to COVID-19
DENNIS PADILLA – The Kapamilya comedian revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 and he was confined in hospital for 12 days.
The COVID-19 pandemic remains to be the biggest challenge that Philippines is currently facing. In fact, this challenge needs a lot more “fighting against” following the recent spike of the disease in the country.
COVID-19 has shaken several healthcare systems across the globe. In PH, many hospitals and healthcare facilities have reached their full capacities for coronavirus patients. Pop-up hospitals or hospital tents were also put up to assist the hospitals in the treatment of the patients.
Many famous personalities from the different fields tested positive for COVID-19. Unfortunately, there are also those who tested positive twice already.

One of the celebrities who recently revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 is Kapamilya comedian Dennis Padilla. Speaking to DZRH, the actor-comedian confirmed that he was brought to the hospital due to his symptoms.
Dennis’ lungs were affected by the infection. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the actor-comedian recalled praying to God and asking Him to give him another chance in life for his children. He cited that his children are still small.
“Noong first, second, third day, tinataas ko lang ‘yung kamay ko. Sabi ko, ‘Lord, hindi ko alam kung ito na ‘yun… “Sana mapagbigyan mo pa ako ng isa pang pagkakataon, kasi maliliit pa ‘yung mga anak ko,” he said based on the report.
The actress has three (3) children with his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto – they are Julia Barretto, Claudia Barretto, and Leon Barretto. From his first marriage, he has a daughter and three (3) children with his current partner. He has already recovered from the disease early April.
