NETIZENS REACT TO ROQUE – The hospitalization of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque remained shrouded in controversy.

Earlier, Roque got flack from Manila Bishop Broderick Pabillo for his “un-Christian” statement. When asked how he secured a room when most hospitals were full, Roque quickly shifted the narrative.

Instead of answering the question, Roque told the reporter his question was “un-Christian”. Furthermore, he emphasized that those with medical needs would get accommodated under the term of President Duterte. Still, Roque failed to become transparent with the public according to Bishop Pabillo.

Meanwhile, a Doctor posted on social media that he wished Roque a “speedy recovery”. He said that the quicker Roque get’s out, the faster his “room will be given to the patient that was bypassed to accommodate him”.

Roque, had declined to answer where he was confined. However, reports from ABS-CBN said several people saw him in the Philippine General Hospital, a public hospital wherein people struggle to get rooms.

On Twitter, one netizen said that they lost their friend, a husband and a father to two young children because no hospital in Manila would accommodate him due to them being at full capacity.

“Man there is a special place in hell for this prick . So entitled wala naman ambag sa bansa , wala eh masamang damo , hope he lives a long and suffer filled life”, some netizens commented.

“He is not a clown, he is the entire circus. What an entitled prick”, another said.

Still, the Department of Health remained mum on the issue with Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire saying they can’t comment on the situation.
