PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 19 2021 (Friday).

The 4AM daily update from the state weather bureau says that Tropical Storm Auring (Internationally called Dujuan) was last spotted at about 605 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometers per hour as of 3 AM. Auring is nearly stationary.

Based on the bureau’s official website, Auring will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and the rest of Visayas.

The rest of Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the forecast wind and coastal water condition, the eastern section of Mindanao will face strong winds that are moving in the northeast to north direction while facing rough coastal waters.

Luzon, Visayas, and the northern section of Mindanao will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
