Vice Ganda mentioned Eat Bulaga again

It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda admitted that he watched their rival show Eat Bulaga before their show started.

The noontime show of ABS-CBN has been airing for more than a decade now and it is not the first time that Vice, along with other hosts of the show, mentioned the Kapuso noontime show that has been on-air for more than four decades.

Previously, he even praised the segments of the Kapuso show during a live episode of their show.

After all, this kind of scenario also happens with the Dabarkads as they would sometimes mention their rival Kapamilya show.

In a recent episode of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda once again talked about Eat Bulaga, based on the article in PEP. During the segment called Hide and Sing, one contestant revealed a previous singing contest stint in the longest-running noontime show.

Then, the comedian-host shared that he himself joined a singing contest in Eat Bulaga. “Ako din naman sumali ako diyan. Ano ba ang mga singing contest sa Eat Bulaga? ‘Birit Queen,’ ‘O Diva,’ ‘Search for the Singing Soldier,’ ‘Doble Kara‘,'” he said.

When the contestant mentioned joining Music Hero in the past, the Unkabogable Star revealed that he watched the opening number of their rival show since it starts at 11:30 AM every Saturday, earlier than their show.

“Kasi kanina kumanta sa opening ng Eat Bulaga, yung sa ‘Music Hero.’ Nanood ako opening, 11:30 kasi sila, habang nagme-make up ako,” he shared.

In a previous article, Vice Ganda said that the rivalry between It’s Showtime and Eat Bulaga is nothing personal. “Hindi naman kami magkaaway,” the comedian-host said.
