Grandpa Celebrates Birthday Alone at Fast-Food Chain
The heartbreaking photos of a grandpa who is celebrating his birthday along at a fast-food chain elicit comments online.
A Facebook user named Trixie Ann Eras Manuel has shared the heartbreaking photos of a poor senior citizen celebrating his birthday alone and showed his ‘Handa’ to his wife and kids via phone call. The post immediately circulates online.
Trixie Ann felt pain and sadness while watching the elderly man celebrating his 69th birthday alone inside of a fast-food chain. The grandpa had a video call with his wife and kids to show his ‘handa’ during his special day.
In the photos, it can be seen that the senior citizen ordered “Chicken Inasal” from the fast-food chain and placed a delicious cake on the table. The video also shows some customers singing ‘Happy Birthday’ towards the poor Lolo.
The social media users have showed their sympathy towards the old man for being along during his birthday.

“Sobra akong nalungkot nang makita namin si Tatay sa isang fast food chain, Hindi ko alam kung anong magiging reaksyon ko sapagkat ngayon lamang ako naka-saksi ng ganitong uri ng pangyayari sa buong buhay ko. Akala ko sa mga drama lang nangyayare ito pero hindi! Sine-celebrate ni Tatay ang kanyang ika-69 taon ng mag-isa at walang kasama. Habang ipinapakita ni Tatay ang kanyang handa sa kanyang asawa’t mga anak sa pamamagitan ng pagtawag sa telepono hindi ko alam kung anong lungkot ang bumabalot sa aking puso. Para sa iyo Tatay nawa’y bigyan ka pa ng panginoon ng lakas para sa mga pagsubok na haharapin mo pa sa buhay. Mag-iingat ka po lagi Tay MALIGAYANG KAARAWAN PO SA IYO TATAY AT PAGPALAIN KA ”
