Veterinary Student & Friends Earn Praises Online After Feeding Stray Dogs and Cats

A veterinary student together with her friends and other volunteers fed stray dogs and cats during Christmas Day.

A Facebook user named Hyacinth Lumagbas has shared the photos of stray animals they have fed in the province of Capiz during the Christmas Day. The young woman earned praises from the online community.

Hyacinth Lumagbas, a first-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student from Barangay Natividad in Pilar town together with her friends fed stray dogs and cats along the streets amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The young lady and her colleagues have been feeding stray animals since 2017. They are receiving cash and in-kind donations from kind-hearted individuals to provide foods for the stray animals.

Lumagbas has also expressed her love to the stray dogs and cats by providing them a clean and decent meal.

“Animals are known to recognize love in any form, so the good you do to a stray animal will never go to waste. Let us share our blessings by providing them one of the best gifts a stray dog or cat can receive, a clean and decent meal,” Lumagbas said.
