A Facebook user named Nahara Pagayawan has shared the heartbreaking photos of a young girl vendor carrying her younger sibling while selling sampaguita along the streets. The post is now circulating online after it was posted on social media.
In the photos, it can be seen that the girl is carrying her young brother while selling sampaguita along the road amid the inclement weather condition. It can be noticed that the kids are barefooted.
The poor girl is doing her best to earn money to help their family or to provide her brother’s necessities. The girl even fall asleep while lying beside the road while hugging her younger sibling.
The images show that poverty is very rampant in various countries all around the world including the Philippines especially during this time of pandemic. We must help each other and the less-fortunate people who were starving.
