Just recently, netizens noticed her strong statement about politics. She shared a photo of Legarda taking the oath as the new Senate President Pro Tempore, and behind her were Pia Cayetano, Imee Marcos, and Camille Villar.

Vivoree Esclito shared this on her Instagram Story with the fiery caption, “I am for empowering women, but not when these are the women in power. Nakakahiya kayo.”

This was shared on Reddit, and netizens also slammed the four lady senators. To recall, Villar, Cayetano, Legarda, and Marcos voted for Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano to replace Sen. Tito Sotto as the Senate President.

These women in the Senate also showed support for Sen. Bato dela Rosa, amid a reported arrest warrant released by the International Criminal Court (ICC), in connection with the controversial war on drugs of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Sotto believed that he was ousted because this had something to do with the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte. With this, here are some comments from netizens.
