The daughter of Jonel Nuezca will undergo counseling
Paniqui Municipal Police Station chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Noriel Rombaoa said that the daughter of Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca will undergo counseling.
As seen in the viral video, the daughter of the cop was there during the nerve-wracking incident that happened in Paniqui, Tarlac on Sunday. The incident became a cause of tremendous outpouring of emotions on social media.
Several popular and prominent personalities have reacted to this such as President Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Ping Lacson, comedian Vice Ganda, singer-actress Mystica, social media personality Jam Magno, journalist Raffy Tulfo, and self-confessed national scammer Xian Gaza.
The focus was concentrated mainly on the policeman and the victims while some also took notice of the young daughter of Jonel Nuezca who saw how he shot Sonya Gregorio and her son, Frank Anthony.
Based on the report from GMA News Online, Paniqui Police said that it had already coordinated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) regarding the daughter of the controversial cop.
“Mayroon na po kaming coordination sa DSWD for counseling kasi kailangan po nating i-counsel ‘yung bata. Automatic naman po sa DSWD na they will conduct counseling doon sa bata,” Rombaoa said. He added that the children from the camp of the victims will also undergo counseling.
The daughter of Jonel Nuezca was seen taking video of the heated argument and he was heard shouting at Sonya, “Just let go. My father is a policeman!” Her statement became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday as the viral video circulated online.
Based on the report, the policeman is facing charges for two counts of murder.
