Vice Ganda had a flashback due to the recent viral Tarlac incident
Comedian-host Vice Ganda recalled the trauma that he went through after watching the viral video of policeman Jonel Nuezca in Tarlac.
The online community was in shock when the said video of Nuezca circulated online. After a heated argument with the Gregorio family, the unexpected shooting happened.
Several prominent personalities in the Philippines expressed how devastated they are after watching the video. Many netizens also cried for justice for the Gregorio family.
Public officials also expressed anger over this viral incident. Even President Rodrigo Duterte stated that Nuezca shouldn’t have passed in police’s neuro test.
Following the heartbreaking incident, reports surfaced that Nuezca has already faced other administrative cases in the past but he was able to redeem himself back then.
This drastic scenario of how lives were wasted made Vice Ganda recall the moment he also felt the same as this has happened to his father. On the Twitter account of the comedian, he shared the trauma he had in the past.
“Natulala ako matapos ko mapanuod ung video. Bumalik yung trauma ko. Bumalik lahat ng pilit ko ng ibinabaon na alaala. Ung putok ng baril. Ung itsura nung tatay ko na parang baboy na sinasakay sa jeep. Ung mukha ng demonyo. Ang bigat ng nararamdaman ko,” he said.
In his following tweet, Vice hoped that what happened to his father will not happen to the Gregorio family.
“Sana’y wag silang magaya sa Tatay ko na di nabigyan ng hustisya. Sana’y wag silang magaya sa pamilya namin na namanhid na lng sa tagal ng paghihintay ng katarungan. Sana wala ng makaranas ng kasamaang ito,” he said.
Vice Ganda’s father was a barangay captain in Tondo. At a young age, the comedian had to face the trauma when his father was murdered.
