What came out as a surprise and shocking over the weekend is the emergence of the video of a cop caught in a video in an incident where he killed a mother and son. In a circulating video online, it can be seen that an old mother is hugging her son amid conflict with a police officer not in uniform.
The cop was identified as Police Corporal Jonel Nuezca who already surrendered to the authorities. The video of the shooting already went viral online and trending since are the hashtags #StopTheKillingsPH and #JusticeForSonyaGregorio.

Nuezca has accordingly surrendered to authorities Sunday evening and detained in the Paniqui Municipal Police Office while investigations continue.
