According to the report of ABS-CBN News, organizers led partygoers to a private house far from the beach for the Halloween party. They will be fined P5,000, said Mayor Frolibar Bautista.

“Base sa investigation, mayroon kasing organizers… dinala doon sa isang private house, doon sila nagparty-party noong sa Halloween. Di kaagad nakita ‘yun kasi area na malayo sa beach siya so ‘di siya masyadong makikita… ‘yun nga may nakapasok doon at nakuhanan ng video,” Bautista said.

Two foreigners who attended the party and donned Philippine National Police uniforms as costumes were also penalized. He said that the two foreigners will face charges for violating Art. 179 of the Revised Penal Code (Illegal Use of Uniform).

Police said they have forwarded their request to the Bureau of Immigration to declare the two foreigners as “undesirable aliens.” Meanwhile, Bautista said that the Island of Boracay is still COVID-19 free.

The national government previously decided to open Boracay Island to tourists to boost the tourism industry despite the pandemic. Its reopening began in June for Aklan residents, then for residents of the entire Western Visayas.
