The veteran actress is currently the Congresswoman of Lipa, Batangas. However, behind her acting prowess, and her ability to serve her constituents, the mother of Luis Manzano revealed that he is “pakialamera” as a neighbor.
Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, Vilma Santos calls herself “pakialamerang kapitbahay”. She explained that it is because every time that she will stroll around their village she would really complain about cleanliness.
“Pag meron pong medyo marumi ang harapan, nagpapasabi po ako ng ‘naku napakarumi naman niyan baka pwedeng tawagin ‘yung barangay para malinis,’” the Star For All Season shared.
Vilma added that she is considering her neighborhood as one family that is why she caring for her neighbors.
Meanwhile, the actress-politician was also asked if which is more difficult to handle – showbiz or politics. Vilma Santos said that the entertainment industry is more manageable than politics.
She added that in showbiz, there can be take two or more than than. However, when it comes to politics or public service, this is the reality of life.
Meanwhile, just recently, the actress-politician celebrated her 67th birthday. She shared her birthday wish and it is the end of the pandemic.
“Sana unti-unti na itong mawala. Sana ma-lessen na yung namamatay. Ma-lessen na yung nagkakasakit, and at the same time, with all the calamities na dumadating ngayon, sana mabasawan na,” the veteran actress said.
